What you'll do

  • Prepare and deliver solution-based product presentations and demonstrations to customers
  • Respond to request for information (RFIs) or request for proposals (RFPs) from customers and Proposal Management
  • Execute on customer proof of concepts (POCs) and Solution Workshops
  • Collaborate and share feedback with cross-functional teams to enhance ongoing product development efforts
  • Determine the technical requirement to meet customer goals
  • Perform technical assessment and prepare documents as per customer specifications
  • Pitch solutions to customers and explain all the features and benefits of a particular product or service
  • Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals such that it meets client’s requirement
  • Help sales executives during the technical presentations
  • Understand the business and operational goals the prospect has and recommend a solution that ensures the optimum usage and utilization of Profile products and services; this can include a full pre-sales lifecycle from RFI response/requirement analysis, to running a scoping exercise or engage in a prototype/proof of concept for agreed requirements
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process
  • Keep abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes
  • Liaise with international delivery team 

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering)
  • Experience developing and presenting clear and concise product briefings
  • 7-8 years of previous work experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role
  • Software Developer skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work effectively across and within teams, functional groups and divisions
  • Strong listening skills and solutions oriented approach to selling
  • Experience with requirement analysis, solution design and scoping
